A Tornado Watch has just been issued for West Texas.
Avi and I have just left Abilene and are moving West on Interstate 20 towards Sweetwater. When we get to Sweetwater we will decide whether we want to go to the North towards Lubbock, are continue West to Big Springs.
The thunderstorms have already fired up on the dryline to our west so we will be playing a little bit of catch up but there is still a good 6 hours of daylight left.
More to come… webcam is up.

Hey Andy, Good luck out there! I have been following your progress…and you are in AWESOME position to see a possible tornado. The storm to your SE is bigger…but your storm is growing and already tornado warned! Be safe, even though I know you’ll be safer than I would Ever be if I was chasing out there! Then again…that’s if I could find a tornado :-(.
Congrats Guys! I don’t know what type of video you have gotten, but I saw the warning says this storm has a history of producing one or more tornadoes. You guys had and still have awesome position with this storm. Hope your video is frickin’ awesome, and I can’t wait to see it :-D!
I hope by some random miracle you guys see something today. It’s crazy how much information you can get from this page. I never would have thought to ask what your computer screen looks like when you are tracking. Very Cool.
The power of an F-5 tornado is no match for the power of our love for you. We miss our favorite male animal nurse!
